I am 22 years old and have lived in Stanway since I was little. I attended both Stanway Primary and Stanway Secondary School and went on to a complete my degree in Business Management at University of Essex. I have really enjoyed the opportunity of representing Stanway and speaking out for residents over the past 2 years as a Borough Councillor. I have championed the '20 is plenty' road safety campaign with Dale Close being the first scheme completed. I have worked with Cllr Lesley Scott-Boutell and successfully campaigned to keep Little Hands Children's centre open, when it was under threat of closure by Essex County Council. In addition, I have worked with a fantastic team of volunteers, re-opening the Stanway Youth Club, which was recently ranked as outstanding by Essex County Council.
I am standing for the County Elections for Stanway and Pyefleet because since being elected as a borough councillor, I have lobbied and campaigned on many County issues within Stanway. Voting for me would enable me, if elected, to have a more proactive and stronger voice for Stanway and Pyefleet at County Hall.
My priorities are:
  • To continue to fight for highways improvements and safety infrstructure across the division,
  • To champion for improved facilities, supporting children and young people especially,
  • To be a vocal representative for the division of Stanway and Pyefleet on County matters at County Hall.
