Barry is a long-standing resident and campaigner in Witham, passionate about improving Witham for all it's residents.
He has formerly been the Mayor of Witham, and a School Governor. He is currently Trustee of Witham Housing Association and also Director of Witham Public Hall, responsible for keeping this successful amenity in the hands of local people.
Barry has is particularly passionate about improving the enviroment for the next generation. To this end in Witham he is Chairman of the Friends of the River Walk, as well as the Founder and Chairman of the Witham Tree Group which has planted hundreds of new trees in our town.
Barry is married with two children, and is a Financial Advisor by profession.
