Norwich South Member of Parliament, Simon Wright, has signed up as a Real Life
Entrepreneur Champion as part of a new campaign being run by East Anglia FSB
(Federation of Small Businesses).
Norwich South MP, Simon Wright, said "I strongly support the FSB's efforts in
voicing the views of local businesses. Small and medium sized businesses in
Norwich are vital for our economy, providing thousands of jobs for my constituents.
I'm delighted to have the opportunity to work closely with the FSB to champion the
work of those local entrepreneurs who are putting good ideas into practice."
FSB Mid Norfolk Branch Chairman, Martin Lake, said: "The Real Life EntrepreneurCampaign aims to champion the entrepreneurs across the country who create jobsand wealth for UK plc. In East Anglia we have small businesses being run by people who are entrepreneurs who put their time and money into building the business and
achieving success.
"The laws and regulations passed by Parliament have a big impact on those
entrepreneurs as too much red tape can strangle a business at birth or stop it
expanding, which is why the FSB is looking for Members of Parliament who will be willing to stand up for entrepreneurs and argue for less regulation and more support
for small businesses.
"We were delighted that Norwich South MP, Simon Wright, has signed up as a
Real Life Entrepreneur Champion as he has a great track record of backing smallbusinesses and we look forward to working with him."
