Today Andrew Duff, Liberal Democrat Euro MP for the East of England, has gone on a high-level mission to Morocco. The purpose of the visit is to encourage the spread of liberal democracy and respect for human rights. His meetings in Rabat will involve senior ministers and opposition figures.
In a statement, Andrew said: "Morocco is willing to learn from the European Union about how to develop better stands of governance. It is in everyone's best interests that Europe has stronger links across the Mediterranean, and I am happy to be able to help build those links".
